Summer is a great time to reset and focus on your yoga practice. I teach different styles of yoga so now you can pick your poison and come practice with me. There is literally a little something for everyone in my teaching schedule! All classes are taught at Yoga Moves, 335 Main Street, Stoneham, MA.
Monday, 4pm - Yin Yoga - Come get your yin on! Join me every Monday 75 minute practice which is a great compliment to a more vinyasa style of yoga. In yin yoga we come into poses and hold them for longer periods of time to release the connective tissue – the tendons, fascia and ligaments. The intent is to place mild stress on the joints and improve circulation and flexibility. Yin yoga is practiced in a cool room and poses are typically held for 3 to 5 minutes with the use of props. Yin yoga emphasizes stillness and prepares both the body and the mind for deeper experiences in meditation. We will work on meditation in the class as well. This class can benefit everyone and is appropriate for all levels including beginners.
Wednesday, 7:30pm - Wind Down Wednesdays!!! Slow Flow and Restore - The perfect class for a mid week detox! This slow flow class balances strength, flexibility, focus and alignment. Class will end with a series of postures to restore your body to a deep sense of relaxation. You will leave this class restored and ready to face the rest of your week! This class is NOT heated.
Sunday, 9 am - Heated Flow - This challenging series of postures is designed for the whole body. This flow class balances strength, flexibility, focus and alignment. Focusing on breath and core strength. Postures are taught in a way that makes this class great for all levels from beginners to advanced. This class is in a heated 95 degree room. Come and sweat the toxins out!
